Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started with Therapy
-
Our sessions are held entirely online via a secure, private telehealth platform. This allows you to engage in therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space, fitting into your life without the stress of a commute.
In our work together, I focus on truly hearing you and understanding your unique experience. I believe you are the expert on your own life; my role is to act as a "mirror," reflecting your patterns and thoughts back to you so you can see them clearly.
We don’t just talk—we collaborate. Together, we will:
Identify the root: Get to the heart of what is really keeping you stuck.
Discover your tools: Uncover the strengths and insights you already possess.
Build forward: Create a plan to move toward a life that feels grounded, intentional, and aligned with who you truly are.

I offer Individual Therapy to adults ages 18 and up. Sessions are offered on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We meet one-on-one in a supportive, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, challenges, and goals. Sessions are personalized to meet your unique needs and are conducted remotely for your convenience.

Online therapy (telehealth) lets you meet with me, a licensed therapist, through secure video, phone, or messaging instead of in person. Sessions are confidential, typically 45–60 minutes, and use HIPAA-compliant platforms (Zoom, Doxy.me) to protect your privacy. It offers the same quality of care as in-person therapy with added convenience and flexibility.
The first session is an intake assessment, where you will be asked questions about yourself and the challenges you’re facing. The following sessions focus on individual therapy, during which a treatment plan is developed and implemented. All sessions are conducted remotely.
-
In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions. I’ll share a little about myself, and you’ll have space to tell me about you. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what brings you to therapy.
Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing and begin creating a plan with goals that reflect your needs and strengths.
-
The length of therapy is different for everyone. Some clients attend for a short period (3-6 months) to work through a specific concern, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper growth and ongoing support (6 months and beyond).
Together, we’ll regularly review your goals and progress to determine what feels right for you. You’re always in control of your therapy journey.
